Currently, two thirds of #updates’s preview are pinned topics unrelated to #updates.
This leaves only two slots for actual updates and announcements:
This makes it easy to miss important announcements in the case where 2 topics are posted after an announcement, such as other announcements, community events, and release notes.
As a developer, an important part of the forums is staying up-to-date on announcements, which can include (and have included) potentially breaking changes.
If these pinned topics were moved or condensed, it would make it easier to consistently receive important announcements.
