Tool equip animation plays but reverts to default tool holding animation

  1. What do you want to achieve?
    I’m trying to make a pistol that can shoot, so far it can shoot and everything but the animations aren’t working as I want them to.

  2. What is the issue?
    The equipping animation plays, but after it’s finished the character reverts to the default tool holding animation.

  3. What solutions have you tried so far?
    I couldn’t find any topics about this specific issue, and I’ve tried to change the animation priority to action, idle and movement, but none of these work.

Before playing equipping you need got repeating anim of how dummy need to hold it then you play equipping anim

in the animation editor you might need to select “Loop animation”
Also dont forget to set the Animation Type from Core to Action or Movement
