Tool flying help?

Heyyo developers, I want to make a clean tool for a simulator, but it’s not working.
I encountered this issue (which most of you probably had too) where if you spin in a circle while equipping a tool, the tool makes you kind of glitched, and you move without actually moving anywhere.
I couldn’t find a solution anywhere, if you can, please give help on this subject.

Hello there, I’m not sure if I understood how your issue works but correct me if I’m wrong, do you mean that you can’t move at all when the tool is equipped and when go somewhere else and equip it again, does it fling you back to another area? If so, I think your tool is anchored leaving your avatar stucked somewhere, and to solve that, you should unanchor and weld it instead, make sure to have a part that’s named as “handle” which is where your character will hold onto.

Ah, I meant if you spin in circles with a tool, the movements is really weird, and feels like you’re being controlled.

Is the handle of the tool unanchored?

Yeah, is that the problem??

Nope I don’t think so, I’m not sure how you can fix.

Oh… Can anyone help??

try making all the parts of the tool noncollidable  massless also helps for in-water situations

Hm, I already made them not collided? DANG I JUST REALIZED YOU’RE CALLMEHBOB lol

are any of the parts of the tool clipping through the ground? it might help to make some meshparts into specialmeshes so you can make the hitbox small and nothing clipping through the ground. though just double check and make sure all parts are noncollidable, because that rly sounds like the issue you are having

Hm, I actually didn’t put massless on, let me try that.

Massless didn’t work, and no parts are through the ground

if you want you can try attaching the tool as a file (delete scripts inside)
