Version 2.0 of Tool X Engine is almost here everyone. From enhanced performance monitoring to more advanced error tracking, this update aims to empower developers with powerful debugging capabilities. Additionally, new visualization tools and improved code analysis will streamline the development process, allowing developers to bring their visions to life more efficiently than ever before.
One of the newest features of this update is the synchronizing, do a importation of your asset from blender to roblox studio and have Tool X Engine run while you launch up that exact blender file where you had the asset stored which you imported to Roblox Studio (the game needs to run in order for it to work)
- NOTE: the blender file must be named “import” and should be stored in a folder called "Tool X Engine Imports*
The system also tells you when the synchronization process is complete, and it also tells you that Roblox studio and which ever program you are using, is now synced together, linked.
I would also like to mention that this is just a very early demo of it, the system still includes issues with the position, orientation, size of the bones, bones going in the wrong path or not rendering every bone, that being said the actual logic is still being worked on, this system doesn’t just jump into blender and copy and paste the bones into roblox, the system checks each rig for bones and gets the data from blender and the system does it’s own replication of it so it isn’t perfect by any means yet.
