Toolbox Search Algorithm Needs Updating

Alright, quick background to a lot of my frustration is that I publish a lot of models so it takes time to manually load more and find a particular model (I probably have over 200 models at least). So you might say, why not search for it? You made the model so you should be able to find it easily with a search and that is also very true. This is the frustrating part, even if I type in the EXACT name of a model it won’t find it. It won’t plain and simple. Case in point, I have this model named “Bushes”

I only took a picture of that model but I found that by manually loading more and scrolling down through my models. Now, when I search “Bushes” in the search bar you’d expect it to come up right. Well, I’ll let this next picture speak for itself:

I dunno what in the world is going on but it almost seems like it searches the description rather than the actual model title or it’s just plain broken. If someone could please look into getting this fixed soon that would be awesome.

I’ve always hated that it’s looked in the description. I’d be so okay with them making a temporary fix if only searching titles.

This is an ongoing project that we have to make this better. That said, it will probably remain as is until the project is finished.

Alright, thanks for letting us know that you have something in the works to fix this

Update 5 years later, has anything been done yet to fix this? Some common searches don’t even appear with any results at all.
