Hello all,
I hope you are excited for the eventual release of Tornado Alley Ultimate in Summer 2019.
I am very hard at work, spending immense amount of hours a week developing, in my opinion, what is looking to be the best game I’ve ever created.
This game is massive. Every map & gamemode to ever exist in Tornado Alley history is returning… and more. Not only that, but I am making sure the game is the best it can possibly be. I hope this helps you realize why the release date is 7-9 months away. A lot of work has been done, but there’s a lot more to do. This game will take almost a year to develop, but so far development is going steady and well.
As we near closer to the release date in Summer 2019, I will be more specific of an actual release date. So as of right now, when I say Summer 2019, it could either be June, July, August, or September… It all depends how far the game is in development by that time. I will announce the official release date probably in April, so you will know then what month of summer.
So with all of that information in mind, let me talk a bit about the beta test details. Even though it’ll be 7-9 months away, I’d like to clear up this information now.
BETA TEST DETAILS (Summer 2019)
As I said prior, this game is MASSIVE. It is filled with more content than all previous Tornado Alley games combined! Because of that, testing the game out is a necessity.
Here’s what will happen:
A (week [or] few days) before Tornado Alley Ultimate releases to the public, all group members in the Tornado Alley Community group will be able to play and test the game.
All gamepasses & in-game purchases will be disabled during the beta test, and players will be able to test the game using a beta database; meaning that data that is accumulated in the beta will be wiped when the official release occurs. This is to prevent any data-issues for beta players when the official release happens, as well as create an even playing field for all players.
The game will stay open, and beta testers will be able to send me bug reports, and I’ll be doing maintenance at night to fix the bugs previously reported during the day.
This should go smoothly, and hopefully by release any possible bugs reported in the test will be fixed!
More details will arrive in the future (most likely April) when we get closer to release. Again, this is still a long ways away, but I wanted to share the information sooner rather than later.
Stay tuned for more details on Tornado Alley Ultimate and its release in the upcoming future.
Thank you,
