Torso part of rig won't move in the Animation Editor

Title says it all really. Whenever I try to rotate the torso of my rig, it doesn’t rotate and instead… the Animation Editor itself rotates?

I don’t know what the problem is. Everything is unanchored, there are no welds, everything has a unique name. So… what could be wrong?

I’m not too familiar with animating, but are you selecting the Torso or the Root part?

I’m selecting the Torso, and I can’t select the Root (won’t highlight when I mouse over it while in the Animation Editor

Found the issue. Turns out the root part has to be named HumanoidRootPart in order for the rig to function properly.
