ToS and Privacy Policy for experiences

We are not sure about writing Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for our experience. We do want to collect data(store it outside of the Roblox) and use it for extra statistics.

Do we have to have ToS and Privacy Policy?

I also wonder why don’t massive experience in Roblox have legal contracts? They do use and collect user information. Especially Pet Simulator X, they do collect literally everything if you look at their website(cookies).

You can store/collect Players’ statistics and information under circumstances that players allowed you to do that

So, that means I do have to make ToS and Privacy Policy.

Where do I need to write it? In Roblox or on our website?

Everywhere. Player has to allow it all by himself.

  • Player has to agree with ToS/Privacy Policy before he could be able to play your experience (Disclaimer, etc)
  • Player has to agree with ToS/Privacy Policy before he could be able to interact with the community or community staff (Discord/Guilded/etc)
  • Player has to agree with ToS/Privacy Policy before he could be able to use your website completely

So why don’t other massive experiences do that? Pet Simulator X, Brookhaven, and more. I do not see any legal information about them. I do not accept any legal contract when I join their game or any experiences.

What information they are collecting?

Your social media account ids. You can basically “verify” your account by using your Twitter id. They are storing it. They are also giving you a boost for that which is against the TOS.

My question actually is about TOS. Everyone on this platform break TOS. Why are they still not banned/punished?

About that, anyone can fake the pet simulator x Twitter verification.

Because it’s your own decision, you are giving them your twitter ID because you want to get something back. I don’t see any ToS violation if they are giving you a boost for that.

To keep in line with Roblox’s Privacy Policy: Developers are allowed to collect the following information:

  • Username
  • DisplayName
  • Location (probs means localisation one because lol)
  • User ID
  • Game Save Data

It does not, however, state that you cant collect other information on users in the TOS. As long as you keep it tracked if data deletion requests were to happen

If you look at the Roblox ToS, you’ll see “off-platform benefit and exclusive things is forbidden”.

Twitter codes? Most of games has Twitter codes
However you can find them on roblox fandom or others sites.

I’m unfamiliar with their verification system, but how do you know they’re storing it?

They could simply just take the given Twitter name by the Player, check if that is a follower of Pet Sims Twitter, then give the Player a boolValue to saying they’ve been verified.

This would never require storing their name.

You cannot submit the same Twitter account id. That means they are storing it.

Could you send me a link? I don’t seem to find it.

You can try this; (which is in the top 5 worldwide popular)

I was talking about ToS, I can not find the rule.

On the contrary to your statement, Roblox even has rules for stuff that doesn’t even need rules and we get punished for it cough Roblox Moderation cough.

In pet simulator X and bedwars I put in a youtubers twitter and it worked. I don’t think they store the twitter ids
