Thanks for the report! Just to confirm, we have a ticket filed in our internal database for this issue.
This is causing problems with our in-game gestures. We’re trying to make a mobile-first app on Roblox and we’re unable to use this API because of the inconsistencies between iOS & Android.
Thank you!! If possible, please let me know if you guys have any questions or updates!
Hi!
We will most likely get to this in December.
Thank you for your patience!
We are having someone implementing this on Android. (It’s not part of the native pan events)
is there an update on this? are there other methods to calculate the velocity for now?
I would love an update on this as well, it’s currently breaking some of the clip creation tools on Android when playing Clip It!
A fix for this just went out, please give it a try. Thanks!
Thank you for the update. It appears that there is a similar bug with Start/End UserInputStates not being fired: TouchPan Velocity doesn’t trigger Enum.UserInputState.Begin/End States on Android - Bug Reports / Engine Bugs - Developer Forum | Roblox
This is a known issue, expect a fix to roll out in the next few releases. Thanks
