TowerTale or also known as AmalgamTale is an AU based on the games Undertale and Deltarune, it’s basically a post-game universe where a mysterious plague spreaded all over the overworld, causing monsters to become amalgamates or twisted versions of themselves making monsters extremely aggresive towards non infecteds and any kind of contact with them would make you infected, in humans by the other hand, it has been proved that the virus isn’t as effective, but it slowly degrades the mental health of the infected, making their soul become Corrupted which turns the humans into the same hive mind like zombie as monsters.

While this game takes inspiration UT/DR storyline, this is OUR AU so we decide what’s canon and what’s not, so please avoid complaining about events not being the same as the original games because it’s literally our story to choose, not yours.

Also this game is in heavily WIP state, currently its an alpha demo, the final game would be much higher quality and a lot of stuff might or might not be removed in the end.

  • Reworked both Ruins map so the terrain is mostly flat which should fix 100% the issues with placing a tower.
  • Added new official art to both the thumbnail and icon.
  • Fixed some bugs regarding the code redeem proccess.

  • Optimized and fixed a lot of bugs regarding the booths (the tables where you play the game).
  • Added more booths so you can have a table easily.
  • Fixed a bug where hitting Skip in the intro cutscene sometimes made the Skip button stay in the menu forever.

  • Added an XP bar to show a visual progreess of how much EXP you have left before leveling up

  • Fixed a bug where stages could potentially break around waves 5 to 10.
  • Optimized some code and map assets.
  • Added a new tower, Timmy the Rock (basically the rock from ruins, the name is not the canon one, it was just to give it a more interesting name rather than naming it rock)
  • Added a new code, TheRock and TheRockAlt should give you the new tower for free, if none does let us know in the media.
  • Fixed a bug where vegetoid AOE kills didnt give you any gold
  • Now towers gives 2-5 gold per hit even if the hit doesnt kill the target, this way gold should be a bit easier to farm.
  • Added a “Perfect bonus wave” that gives you even more gold by beating a wave without getting your base any hurt.

  • Fixed a big bug where the stages were completely broken for some random reason.
  • Changed and remodeled the “Chained” and “Corrupted Runner” enemies for “Juggernaut” and “Whimbug”, which are essentially the same but with a more detailed and lore accurate models.
  • Removed runners from spawning in stages 1 and 2
  • Nerfed the amount of enemies that spawns for all stages, specially for stages 1 and 2
  • Reduced greatly the enemies stats like HP for enemies in stage 1 adn 2
  • Added a “Perfect bonus” which gives little extra gold per round whenever you win a round without taking damage
  • Buffed greatly Vegetoid
  • Fixed minimal bugs

  • Added a GUI for player stats
  • Optimized and fixed (hopefully) a lot of bugs regarding the minigame and other areas in general (spamton shop and so on)
  • Added a little drop down like menu for both the player stats and the hotbar with all the main buttons (guilds, codes, rewards, and inventory) so the UI doesnt look messy.
  • Fixed some minor bugs in the actual gameplay.
  • Added the beam death animation from failing the mettaton minigame.
  • Added the stickers compatibility with console and mobile!
  • You can now leave the minigame by simply interacting with the gray door behind you.

  • Added leaderstats, now you can flex your wins, LOVE (level) or SOULs to the rest of the server!
  • Added a LEVEL SYSTEM, you get EXP by playing the main game, after you gathered the enough EXP, you level up, levelling up has no use currently but in a future it will, also the level cap is 20 and also an ui for the level system is on the way.

  • Added a little menu screen where you can easily find a little how to play and credits menu.
  • Redesigned the tower UI for stats.
  • Fixed a bug where the volume slider could be changed while the UI was invisible making the volume constantly go up or down.

  • Added a better indicator for the range of towers (instead of 2d like, its now fully 3d so you can visualize better what range does towers have)
  • Fixed a pair of minor bugs
  • Reworked how elevator level works, now you can directly choose what map and level you want since the actual lobby, this way lobbies should be faster to do and organize.
  • Changed the UI of the elevator so now it has a fully functional level select UI, new UIs are coming this next days.

  • Fixed the lighting of the lobby that literally obliterated your eyes in higher graphics.
  • Fixed a bug with the GUILD icon not returning to its actual size and instead returned to a bigger icon that overlapped with the inventory.

  • Upgraded versions of the towers (excluding Moldessa) have twice or three times buffed stats, which should fix the issue of upgrades feeling underpowered compared to their base or previous upgrade forms, also it should address the issue of difficulty being quite high to some people.
