This is pretty cool, but the colors seem a bit bland. Itโ€™s too gray and could definitely use some additional colors to spice things up.

Wow! This looks really good my friend; I can tell you worked really hard on it! However, I suggest you change the material of the roofs to something like wood. Iโ€™ve never seen a house with giant slabs of granite as its roof. And if you really wanted to get fancy, you could add a statue and/or fountain in the center of the village, where the tables and chairs now are. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestion!

I changed the roof colors to dirt brown & woodplanks and it looked better than before!

Yeah now youโ€™re talking! Definitely changes the overall look of the village. If you wanted to, you could even add some snow on the roofs, itโ€™ll enhance the winter theme a lot. Not really sure if you want to go all out winter themed, but it might look pretty cool. :man_shrugging:

Amazing maybe add some more decorations?

Your town looks great and it definitely gets a thumbs up from me. Well done on your work in this project. You ought to be proud of what you have achieved and I congratulate you.

You asked for feedback and so may I suggest the following โ€ฆ

  • You could change the sound effects of the avatarsโ€™ footsteps so that you hear a โ€˜crunchโ€™ sound as they walk.

  • You could add a snow texture to every horizontal surface so that it looks like snow had laid upon the surfaces of roofs, tables. chairs and so on.

  • You could add a light snowfall effect to the viewersโ€™ cameras using particles.

  • You may want to consider a change of lighting, to make the overall hue to the light more white.

  • Have you considered add a white fog effect to the lighting too? After all, if it is snowing, the combined effect of the falling snow makes it more difficult to see into the far distance.

  • Perhaps you could change the textures of the sky, to add snow-filled clouds.

  • You may be interested in looking at other showcases of snow-covered cities, to see if there are any other strategies that you could employ. I have built a snow-filled city of my own. Perhaps you could get some hints, as to whether my above suggestions are appropriate for your own build, by taking a visit for yourself. You would be very welcome to visit.

Good luck with your build. I think that your work looks amazing and I shall definitely return to see how it progresses.

I am sure that you will inspire me to improve my own build too.

I like it! The only thingโ€™s Iโ€™d change is maybe add a little more details in some spots. Like itโ€™s obvious from the screenshot that the roofs a slab of wood at an angle, which isnโ€™t a bad thing, but itโ€™s โ€œnot realisticโ€ if that makes sense. Try adding some curvature, maybe some tiles. Other then that it looks great overall. Maybe some walls could use detailing too.

A windmill would also look great hehe.
