This is pretty cool, but the colors seem a bit bland. Itโs too gray and could definitely use some additional colors to spice things up.
Wow! This looks really good my friend; I can tell you worked really hard on it! However, I suggest you change the material of the roofs to something like wood. Iโve never seen a house with giant slabs of granite as its roof. And if you really wanted to get fancy, you could add a statue and/or fountain in the center of the village, where the tables and chairs now are. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the suggestion!
I changed the roof colors to dirt brown & woodplanks and it looked better than before!
Yeah now youโre talking! Definitely changes the overall look of the village. If you wanted to, you could even add some snow on the roofs, itโll enhance the winter theme a lot. Not really sure if you want to go all out winter themed, but it might look pretty cool.
maybe add some lanterns and add a particle emitter for a slight snow effect, but overall this is so amazing if there is a game for this please let me know because I wanna try it.
Amazing maybe add some more decorations?
Your town looks great and it definitely gets a thumbs up from me. Well done on your work in this project. You ought to be proud of what you have achieved and I congratulate you.
You asked for feedback and so may I suggest the following โฆ
You could change the sound effects of the avatarsโ footsteps so that you hear a โcrunchโ sound as they walk.
You could add a snow texture to every horizontal surface so that it looks like snow had laid upon the surfaces of roofs, tables. chairs and so on.
You could add a light snowfall effect to the viewersโ cameras using particles.
You may want to consider a change of lighting, to make the overall hue to the light more white.
Have you considered add a white fog effect to the lighting too? After all, if it is snowing, the combined effect of the falling snow makes it more difficult to see into the far distance.
Perhaps you could change the textures of the sky, to add snow-filled clouds.
You may be interested in looking at other showcases of snow-covered cities, to see if there are any other strategies that you could employ. I have built a snow-filled city of my own. Perhaps you could get some hints, as to whether my above suggestions are appropriate for your own build, by taking a visit for yourself. You would be very welcome to visit.
Good luck with your build. I think that your work looks amazing and I shall definitely return to see how it progresses.
I am sure that you will inspire me to improve my own build too.
I like it! The only thingโs Iโd change is maybe add a little more details in some spots. Like itโs obvious from the screenshot that the roofs a slab of wood at an angle, which isnโt a bad thing, but itโs โnot realisticโ if that makes sense. Try adding some curvature, maybe some tiles. Other then that it looks great overall. Maybe some walls could use detailing too.
A windmill would also look great hehe.
