[SEASON 6] Miraculous™ RP: Ladybug & Cat Noir - Roblox
The Role
We’re looking for a skilled and creative Roblox Programmer / Software Engineer to help bring new and exciting experiences to life on the platform. You’ll work closely with our CTO, game designers, artists, and product team to develop fun, engaging, and scalable systems in Roblox Studio.
This is a remote freelance role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building polished, player-focused gameplay.
Responsibilities
- Develop core game features and systems in Roblox Studio using Lua
- Collaborate with designers and artists to implement responsive, player-centric gameplay
- Optimize performance for both client and server environments
- Contribute to overall game architecture with clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Debug, test, and refine systems to ensure stability and a smooth player experience
- Implement analytics, LiveOps features, and data-driven updates as needed
Capabilities & Experience
- Proven experience developing and shipping Roblox games
- Experience using IDEs (eg: VS Code), Git and Rojo for Roblox development
- Proficiency in Lua and Roblox Studio tools/workflows
- Experience with systems like UI, character customization, shops, and social features
- Familiarity with Roblox services such as DataStore, Marketplace, and TeleportService
- Experience in cross-functional teams and iterative development
- Knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus
Skills
- Strong coding and debugging skills
- Solid understanding of game architecture and clean code principles
- Effective communicator and team player
- Comfortable working independently in remote teams across time zones
- Proactive, self-motivated, and open to feedback and iteration
