Transferring a Texture from Brick To Union Fails

Intro:

Hi Everyone, so I found this weird bug. I was making a union on Roblox studio and when I tried to put the texture from one part to another part it failed to work. However it doesn’t fail when you insert a texture though the + button then put the asset ID on it.

Specs:

I’m on a MacBook Air running studio version 0.447.1.411123 which is the latest version.

Repro:

  • Open Studio
  • Place a part with a texture on it
  • Make a union
  • Copy the Texture from the texture brick to the union

Yes, we accidentally broke this as part of the Video Marketplace release.

The relevant flag has been reverted and it should work again now, sorry for the inconvenience.
