Can you provide more info on what you put in the parts (if there is), graphic mode you use, the transparency amount and so on?
Just to clarify the graphic mode Im talking about is the graphic mode of studio not roblox graphic quality. But My suggestions are: Try resetting studio, try tweaking transparency of the two parts to see where the visual occurs and try changing your studio graphic mode.
Edit: changing light technology can help changing the part visibility a bit too!
Your issue could be the part with the transparency of 0.05. I know that when I use “really” small transparency amount it can do things like what you just demonstrated (if that made sense). Maybe set it to 0.1 or something a little higher?
Ok, this will be important. Try to replicate the scene in another project to see if the problem persist, if you have the same result then the problems should be the studio settings. Either way try to replicate it and tell me the result.
It is probably something to do with the transparency of the block and the texture/decal/material underneath it, what if you try to mess around with some settings to see if it will change
Are you using Glass as one of the Materials?
Roblox has had a long history of issues with semi-Transparent Parts behind other semi-Transparent items.
Glass may hide Terrain water and other semi-Transparent items almost completely.
Do you have a decal or texture instance on the blue block below you?
Layering on transparent stuff is buggy in a lot of graphics engines, I’d suggest making either the water or bridge itself completely opaque, or just replacing the water with terrain water which looks a whole lot better in my opinion. semi-transparent textures on surfaceappearance instances work too, but that only works with meshparts.
