Transparent Background GFX Blender

Hello so I am trying to create a GFX but I need the background to be transparent. I know how to do it but for some reason it just makes it have a black background. When I put it into my editor it also just has black background. I don’t know how to fix this so if anyone could help that would be great. Below is what I mean by the background being black .

You could’ve just said that instead of giving 'em a video though.

I already stated that is what I did but when I did it it gave me a black background not transparent. This is what I get below:

Whenever this is happening to me, I either make sure its on tranparent, and if that still doesnt work, I just make a wall behind my character, and color it green to turn into a greenscreen then go to Pixlr.com and use the magic wand, press edit then press clear.

Do it in a different project file. for some reason in the .blend file that houses the rigs it always shows a black background instead of transparent. trust me

I always use the blend file, but the backround is never black for me…

I ain’t sure why is that. but I don’t get any black backgrounds because I import my rigs elsewhere. I just needed to clear out the garbage cubes after pasting it in a different project file.

Idk why I don’t have a black background, but @LifeDigger, I would just make a plane mesh behind the character and color the mesh green to turn it into a green screen lol

How would you change it?? The .blend is for blender what I use

Open a second blender window and create a new project, and then copy and paste the rig from the rig file to the new window.
