Transparent decals despite the image not being transparent

• What are you attempting to achieve?
  Putting a transparent part with a decal on it on top of another part
• What is the issue?
  The decal in question appears transparent, despite the uploaded image not being transparent nor the transparency being set to anything other than 0
• What solutions have you tried so far?
  Uploading decal through the website rather than studio, removing part and making a new one

Is the decal still pending moderation? Usually a decal won’t show up until it’s been approved.

Pretty sure it is approved
I also tried putting a surfacegui with an image label into a part, the image worked properly, no transparency

so u are going to put a transparent image as a decal on a part and you still can see that part color?
if so open the properties tab and set the transparency to 1

You got it completely wrong. An image is probably the best. ImageLabel on the left, decal on the right.
