Treat Tools as Models

As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to move and edit all the parts of a tool collectively. This is because as of now, tools are treated as folders which allow you to select and move each part individually from the others.

If Roblox is able to address this issue, it’d make it a lot easier to work with the Roblox tools. It would allow us to accurately place pickup weapons without having to worry about leaving some of the parts somewhere else on the map. Additionally it could help when creating animations in the event that animators want to move the tool to the rig’s hand.

The tools were treated as models before; however, it changed somewhere down the road.

Group everything in the tool and you can have this functionality. Or maybe even group the tool.

This is a good temporary fix, but this is something that should be the default behavior.
