Tree Miners map screenshots

These are some screenshots of the Tree Miners map, we’re still messing with stuff, but I just wanna share a lil something because why not?

some feedback would be cool

[spoiler]

A dockyard

Observatory

Desert town (unnamed)

Construction site

Gas station, probably the least finalized area shown in this thread

a little photo of the smaller town, (there’s a town, and a city)

another photo of the town square, from the other side

just some wilderness area to explore while you’re traveling between biomes

–this is gonna be a unique game in the sense it’ll be partial open-source, the whole development team have been writing a journal that we plan on publish (probably on like issuu or something in a magazine format) where we have concept art of the game, how we laid the map out, why we did it, and we’ll include some tutorial on why we did certain aspects, with models of buildings and scripts to go along with them so others can learn from our building/scripting.
however core-game scripts will be kept private.

we’ve learned a lot on tree miners, and we hope others can learn from the journal we’ll be publishing…

Lower the bloom and sunray intensity…
Why is the skybox pink, is the game supposed to give a dream-like feel?

Very interesting and I didn’t know what to expect but I loved what I saw. The lighting was amazing and went well with it, absolutely stunning. Keep up the good work!

The maps look really nice!
I got one question though,
I’ve seen Tree Miners all over your twitter but I’m not sure what he game is about. Could you explain to me what it is?
Thanks.
