How do you plan on the rank system working, i dont think that will work well in roblox unless you have an absurd number of players
We have hundreds of thousands of robux, I have been marketing for 4 years, once the game hits the top page, YouTubers tend to flock to new top games, and usually boost insane amounts of player counts. We’ll have a fully animated trailer with a voice actor explaining over it how the game will work and such. The ranked mode will actually have the opposite affect, it’ll give us more players because it isn’t a useless grind, you grind for a rank, you grind to be the best player in the game, and in the end, in the Trex League you have the chance to win thousands of dollars. It’ll attract teenagers and young adults to the game in rapid numbers.
yes, you could have a lot of players across multiple servers, but I don’t think there is a way for scripts to look at other servers so your matchmaking would only have 100 players to mess with, which could be difficult because of the amount of ranks you have.
There is more matchmaking support that is coming along on the 2020 roadmap

intresting, i might look at using that in my game when it comes out.
I’m no sales pitcher but I think the reason you’re not getting anyone is probably the skill requirements.
I don’t see the point in understanding marketing mainly, I mean they just need to script what you want them to script, it doesn’t seem all too important to make sure they know how marketing works when they as the developer just want to be paid.
Probably just me, hope you find a role, if you ever need a builder for your project I’d love to hop on as one!

Totally understand what you mean, we want the scripter to understand how devproducts and gamepasses will work, and understand how you sell that said item. Every developer on Roblox who is serious about working here should definitely have that basic skill!
