Triggering part increment problem

Hello,

So I know for sure that I’m not the only builder who’s experienced this when adjusting the size of parts with a certain increment the entire time and everything all of a sudden messes up and things won’t align perfectly anymore for some reason. Why is this happening? I was making a maze with using increment 1 and was going fine at first and then randomly things stopped aligning. It’s real annoying having to change increments every second just to fit things perfectly again after it stopped aligning, what am I doing wrong that’s causing this? What actions should I try to avoid?

Can I see a video of this so I can see what you are talking about

Haven’t had this happen before. If you’re using an increment like 0, it will obviously be harder to align things perfectly, however using an increment like 1 I’ve always had things line up. Be sure to check that your increment hasn’t changed.

I edited the topic now, you can see the video.

Edit: wrong clip, 1 second

Edit #2: Ok, you can check now

city more tip you just freeze I just saw you freeze on the pieces of blocks and they will stay still there will be a brazilian sign on the anchor sign so stay still the blocks helping you :slightly_smiling_face:

I think dragging the part could be the problem. I don’t use f3x all that much, but I believe it may mess up the stud increment, as opposed to while dragging a part in regular studio applies the current stud increment to keep it aligned.

ok I a not sure try using the move tool instead or put the position is manually

I know, I could easily do that but it’s too time consuming and becomes stressful after a while having to change the increments just to get it in position right.

Grab the corner of the part you want to align, and drag it along the other corner of the part.
