Tropicalana is a current juice bar industry that has 1000+ members, and strives for perfection. At Tropicalana, we make sure your experience is memorable, ensuring that our staff are displaying all of their professional abilities to grow the community.

This handbook will provide a great amount of information that could help you begin your career at Tropicalana, learn more about how we divide our departments, and everything in between.

Any information not provided in this handbook will be added, as it is updated frequently, and we are always taking suggestions.

This handbook was made for the public’s use and should be taken for granted. Be sure to thoroughly read through the information to understand it fully, and the staff shall not be expected to repeat this information in DMs, nor public chats.

All Staff Assistant+ are required to read this guide to ensure success while working as an MR at Tropicalana.

General Information

Code of Conduct

Tropicalana has such rules in place, better known as the code of conduct, to keep the community welcoming and the environment safe to the public. If you’re a staff member or a lower rank you will still need to read our rules and regulations which can be found on our Communications Server.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I become a staff member?
You can become a staff member by attending an interview, attending training sessions, or applying!

How do I get promoted?
You can get promoted by being the best staff member you can be. An example is hosting
sessions, shifts, and trainings.

Why should I work here?
This is a great community to work at because we are accepting and it’s somewhat easy to get a job here. Here at Tropicalana, we aren’t very strict unless you are disobeying the rules.

How often do applications come out?
Applications come out when we are in need of staff or feeling generous.

What makes this place so special?
Well, this group has only been out for a few months and we’re already at a great number of members. We also have extraordinary staff members.

Affiliation Information

Tropicalana is always looking for new alliances. However, we require those who want to form an alliance with us to follow our requirements and fill out an application.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Your group MUST have 200+ members
  • Your group must have a good reputation.
  • Your group must have a communications server.
  • Your group may not sell ranks that grant administrative abilities.
  • Must have a professional work ethic
  • Must have 1+ group game.
  • Must have 15 or more staff members.
  • Your group may not free-rank.
  • Your group must be an industry. (Clothing, cafe, graphics, etc)
  • Your group may not be a military/army, nor fan group.

Remember that when applying, you must follow our requirements to ensure your success within the application. Please try your best, and discuss this possible alliance with the department members of your group!

Departments

The Tropicalana industry contains 2 departments that are in-charge of different tasks to complete the community.

Each member of an assigned department has proven to the Presidential Team that they are capable of many things, and are always trying their best to represent the Tropicalana community.

Please read the following for a detailed description of each department and what their responsibilities are. Any other questions regarding departments may be directed to a Vice President+.

Communications

The Communications department generally makes sure the group is organized and active. The members of this department also manage alliances and events. The head of this department is VickyCool123451.

Employment

The Employment department is in charge of promotions, demotions, terminations, blacklists, consequences, and applications. You are to contact them when you have a report or a promotion recommendation. The head of this department is TootsieGootsie.

Demotions, Promotions, and Terminations

Tropicalana has a distinguished policy for our staff members regarding demotions, promotions, and terminations. Please read ahead to understand this policy.

Promotions

  • Must have been a Senior Juicer for at least 3 weeks. (ONLY APPLIES TO BE PROMOTED TO STAFF INTERN)
  • You must be active within the community.
  • You may not be on a cooldown.
  • You must use grammar and show professionalism at all times.
  • You must understand and obey the rules.
  • You must understand your job.

Demotions & Terminations

  • Inactivity without a notice.
  • Not using grammar when asked to.
  • Not obeying the rules.
  • Unprofessionalism.
  • Hinting.
  • Causing problems/drama.
  • Leaking.
