Staff Code of Conduct

GENERAL

Employees of Tropicasa are expected to be actively helping others and active in their job. They are also required to be professional and be the role model of the company to the community of Roblox. Staff members are not expected to work every day but they are advised to work as often as they can to guarantee promotions and a better experience for the customers.

PROFESSIONALISM

Professionalism is the main key to being a staff member at Tropicasa. This is because we want experienced and professional employees to serve our prominent customers and therefore, guaranteeing them with an amazing experience. There are three parts to professionalism:

Grammar

Grammar is required as an employee of Tropicasa as it proves to staff and customers that you know how to use grammar and that you are capable of being professional.

Attire

Attire is another significant factor in professionalism. Wearing inappropriate clothing that isn’t suitable for working at Tropicasa is forbidden. You are expected to wear clothing that is appropriate for everyone. However, when you enter the kitchen, you will automatically be given the barista uniform, regardless of what you’re wearing.

Behaviour

Behaviour is another part of professionalism. You are expected to have a good attitude towards working and that also means being enthusiastic about your job. In addition, you are also expected to be on your best behaviour (no swearing, no inappropriate remarks, no breaking guidelines, etc.)

Discipline & Termination
We handle problems with staff members with a simple protocol.

Warning I → Warning II → Termination

We want our staff members to be as professional as possible and therefore, if causing a problem or not acting professionally means you’re ruining customers’ experiences, you’ll be warned twice and they terminated. When you’re terminated, it does not mean you cannot apply again! You can apply again and improve on the reasons for why you were demoted. However, you may be blacklisted if you break one of our game guidelines, it depends on the severity of the issue.

To do this, you must work very hard in order to be recommended for a training/test.

Counter Machines Method

Using the machines on the counter may seem like a daunting task. However, we’ve made it even easier for you to use them!

Method:

  1. Find a machine that is not in use by a member of staff already
  2. Sign in by clicking the ‘Sign In’ button on the screen
  3. When you have a customer, greet them and ask them for their order (the usual) and click the ‘Take Order’ button on the screen
  4. Select the smoothie, salad, dish or juice that your customer has requested (you can select up to 3 items as that is the maximum per customer) then click Submit.
  5. Click the drink you want to do first and then you will see that on your backpack, a list of ingredients and the name of the dish will be put at the top.

Ingredient Collecting

We’ ve made it easy for you to collect ingredients. By going up to one of the ingredient containers and clicking them, it’ ll instantly add it to your backpack and if it is an ingredient from the selected recipe, it’ll tick it off in your backpack.

Administrative Intern Promotion

To get an Administrative Intern (the first executive rank), you must be a Senior Smoothie Barista with at least 1500 points. When you reach that point requirement, you’re eligible for a recommendation. If your recommendation receives an undisclosed amount of upvotes, you’ll be asked to take the Administrative Test. If you pass that, you will be accepted and will go through executive training.

Alternatively, you can attend AI interviews as a Senior Smoothie Barista and if you pass, you’re automatically ranked to AI and have to be trained. The only difference is that there is no test involved with the interviews. These interviews are not held regularly, only when we need to hire new middle ranks.

Serving

To serve a player, get the food/drink that they have requested (assuming you have used the machines, made the drink and are ready to serve) and press H on your keyboard. This will open a hand-to GUI and there you can enter the customer’s name. Make sure you’re holding their food when you had to!

Janitorial System

Tropicasa has taken the extra step and has implemented a janitorial system to improve the realism at our smoothie bar. From cleaning spills to cleaning dishes, we have added sophisticated systems to give you a more natural experience. To clean a spill, get a mop from the restock room, move to a spill and right click with the mop equipped. This will clean the spill. Make sure you stay on the spill until it is fully cleaned up!

Restock System

We have decided to add a restock system for several utilities in our kitchen. The utensils will gradually decrease in amount as you use them. You can restock them by going to the restock room and grabbing a crate. You can then move up to the place that needs restocking and walks into it. However, if the crates in the restock room run out, you can wait for the truck to arrive and fill up the crates in the restock room from there.
