Trouble Changing Game Title

Currently I can’t change the title of my experience due to Roblox’s automatic text filter. This has been a recurring problem for my game.

Letting you know NOW because I have a big update coming in a few days, to which I’ll need to be able to change the game title. Can I please get some Roblox support on this?:pray: Thank you.

I’ve gone through this many times too🗿

I can share what worked for me:

  • Changing the name from Roblox Studio
  • Sometimes check the game description for numbers (numbers mess up everything)
  • Waiting some time

Do trial and error

  • try changing the description only, if error persists, the description was the one rejected. If you’re only changing the title, Try waiting some time, it worked for me

Good luck, update me if it worked in studio

Thanks for the reply, but the Studio trick did not work for me. Will be trying anything else I can to get this to work.

This happened to my (at the time) <13 brother many years ago. The trick we’ve learned is to rename the game to a bunch of hashtags, and then rename it something else later.

Interesting, but the problem is that my game has a good amount of concurring players in it all the time. If I change the title to hashtags and leave it for a while, I think I might lose players.

This is why you should test it with another private experience first.

So you’re saying to test it with another experience, and then if it works, I should be able to change the the title of the real game?

Yes, but only if it’s just the title. Sometimes, Roblox won’t let you change any user-specified data on the game settings if, for example, the game icon is moderated.
