What do you want to achieve?
A gun with various different animations that play based on what you’re doing (Aiming, shooting, lowering, equipping, etc.) -
What is the issue?
I’m just absolutely lost on where to start, and scrolling through the developer website has been no help to me so far. -
What solutions have you tried so far?
I tried finding a way to load the animations through the server so everyone could see them and ended in a mess of remote events. I then tried looking here for a solution and didn’t find one.
can i see what animation type you used in the animation?
Even if you loaded the animation in a LocalScript, all players can see the animation so no need to do that.
Hi, I’m not quite sure what you mean by that. Do you mean what is listed on the website or what is in studio?
That’s what the tool looks like in studio. On the website they are just listed as “Animation.”
Sorry if I’m being an inconvenience here, I’m still very new to scripting and this is my first time doing anything animation related.
no i mean in the animation, try clicking the aim animation then in the properties tab there should be something called animation type
There doesn’t seem to be anything there.
Try reimporting your animation into studio then in the Animation editor before you save it change the Animation priority to action ( it wasn’t animation type, my bad lol. )
