Reproduction Steps:
Browser information:
User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/88.0.4324.146 Safari/537.36
Platform Type: PC
Device Type: Computer

Step 1: Have two-step verification enabled.
Step 2: Logout
Step 3: Log back in
Step 4: Receive email, enter code, and check the box that states ‘Trust this device for 30 days’
Step 5: Logout
Step 6: Log back in

After step 6, I have to receive and enter a code again, instead of trusting the device I use.

Expected Behavior:
After having two-step verification enabled, when I check the box that states: ‘trust this device for 30 days’, I should be able to log in and out freely without having to check my email and enter a code.

Actual Behavior:
Despite having checked the box after countless logins, I still have to enter a code each and every time.

Workaround:
N/A – I have to log in using the code every time.

It fixed the issue with my other account that I login to but not this one, unfortunately. Strangely, using incognito mode allows for ‘trust this device for 30 days’ to work.

Thanks for the update! Glad clearing browser cookies and/or using incognito mode works.

Please let us know if the solution fails and create a new topic for us to look into
