Would recommend a new onboarding experience for teachers and for one that teachers can provide to students!
It seems like I cannot access the site as I got error 404. Surprisingly, the error also appears on all https://developer.roblox.com/ sites that I’m accessing.
I’m currently on a PC, the screenshot below was on 9:20 AM GMT. Location is in Vietnam, I tried switching to data usage but it does not seem to fix the problem. I’m not sure if there are other people that also experience the same problem though.
I would be really appreciated if this issue gets resolved in the future.
Thanks!
This will help me and tons of other people make games! Thank you!
You would probably put that in bug reports, not here.
I will consider creating a topic if there are people who also experiences the same problem as me! I don’t really want to create an excessive topic that can be resolved easily. Thanks for the idea though!
Edit: I have just found out that bug reports are for Regular+ only.
Will there be a part for plugins? Considering how plugin documentations are not really enough, it’d help a lot.
This looks exactly like https://studioplus.io! I would rather use studio+ for now due to the amount of courses it has and how in-depth it goes. I understand that studio+ is an Official Roblox Educational Partner and that’s probably why they look similar. This is good but studio+ is literally just this but better.
The company behind Studio+ actually got acquired by Roblox a year or so ago, so that would explain why they look similar. I imagine over time they will pull all the good stuff from Studio+ into the DevHub.
Yeah, it’s good to make it official so it gets more recognized and people are able to learn.
To be honest, telling new builders to use unions to build complex structures might not be the best idea since unions are prone to getting corrupted.
This system is finally usable, most others released by Roblox haven’t even remotely been good enough and I feel this actually is usable.
Alright, o I’m pretty self-reliant and good at self-directed learning. I’ve been scripting for awhile and I’ve learned how the API works and know a lot of it. I still have to look up the syntax from time to time of course, and I’m still learning new information. Will this tool help expose my weaknesses and where I should try to improve?
What do you mean corrupted? This is the first time I’ve ever come across this term.
There are rare instances where unions can corrupt, i.e. become invisible for no reason and become inseparable.
I sure wish this existed when I started scripting…
Its awesome honestly, I did learn how to make some better lighting with it actually!
This is really great! Hopefully it will make it easier for more people to get into developing!
I just don’t think you should be using them forever. I personally use them for some of the hard backend work, but I would go out of my way to make my own trees. Plus, most players who play your game will think you’re lazy.
Finally! I haven’t been able to learn how to code at all because I’ve been extremely busy and this seems like a quick way to learn more about Lua! Thanks Roblox for this amazing thing!
Free models are fine to use and I’m glad Roblox acknowledges them. They are important, and can really speed up the process. Sure, be careful with them, but don’t treat them as if they’re the Icon of Sin. Indie developers on other platforms use them decently often (specifically with NPCs, characters, buildings sometimes), so why shouldn’t we? And what about developers using snippets of code (or entire scripts)? That’s just as common, if not more! The stigma surrounding them is just dumb and doesn’t help anything. They are not lazy, and treating them as such is just honestly stupid.
wow thanks to you, I was able to make an accurate time door
