If anyone sees this reply, would you mind sharing with me how you learned Studio? I personally self-taught myself coding and I feel like scripting just comes easier to me than others. I feel good about this, but I don’t have a complete say because I didn’t really use developer hub tutorials.
Nice, been wanting to get into coding, but found it overwhelming. Lets see if this does the trick!
I started at a younger age. I was not allowed on sites like Youtube, and did not know that the Wiki existed, so the only thing I could learn was how to build. It forced me to get good at building
Really nice update, this makes it really easy to learn!
This looks really helpful! I’ll probably be using this a lot! I’ve already learned something from them!
Amazing Idea, I’ve always been terrible at building, but I’ve just clicked on the terrian sculpting course and I have already learnt so much!
I’m not speaking as if I think they’re lazy. Most of your players will think it’s lazy. It’s a stigma that you cannot control, that I cannot control.
I Still remember those old ROBLOX Studio tutorials with StickmasterLuke.
great to me to learn how to script and design it will be great if there is someone teach me and other new devs
Woah, that looks so epic. Roblox must be working super hard on these updates
I agree and think this is necessary
Yes i am getting Studio+ vibes here. But it doesnt really matter that much as roblox owns Code Kingdoms (the people who made the plugin)
This is really helpful, I just learned something new from these!
However, I think that you should check this out!
A small website problem.
I think a few people already pointed this bug out, but they were all on phones, I am just here to confirm that this is also happening on the PC!
I don’t know if this is intended, but the “Next course” and “Next category” buttons are designed pretty badly…
For example, on the page Particle Properties, the icon for the Next course isn’t properly scaled.
Another example, on the page Killing the Player, the icon for the Next course also isn’t somewhat properly scaled.
Here is an example for the “Next category” button.
The button doesn’t look the best. It just shows a small icon from the next category, and you can’t even tell what to click on…
I love this it’s so much easier to use. I’ve been using it to get better at Roblox studio before I could not even write one line of Lua now I can write four lines of code. I can even use Gui I am so happy about this
Wow, this is gona be really helpful. Especially for new people wanting to start out in developing.
Can’t wait to see all the other lessons that are planned !
For having tested it, I love it, the UI is good, the lessons are clear enough, and goodly organized.
I can’t wait to share this link when people have difficulties on stuff, and yea, it is really promising ngl.
Hope they add more courses lol
This is awesome and will help a lot of starting developers!
I do wish there was more advanced scripting though. Sure, you have 1 course of “intermediate”, but with advanced I mean how to use math functions, advanced CFrame, etc. I know a lot of people are struggling with learning that too.
This is the most awesome feature to come to the DevHub yet
