I’m currently working on a devil fruit, and I want to make an ability where when the user presses a button, it slices a part in half, either horizontally or vertically straight through the middle.
Basically I’m trying to recreate this effect.

Can anyone help me out on how I can do this because I have absolutely no idea where to even get started
I would recommend watching this video, It’s about slicing bread in roblox studio, which in your case you would just replace the bread with a devil fruit. Hope this helps.
