Hello! So, I’m trying to work on something, and I just lost knowledge on everything i learned recently out of no where sigh.
This is the roof I’m trying to make, anyone care to let me know how to create it?

Alright, I will help you with this since I recently started building houses too.
Firstly, for the foundation, I would start on a baseplate and then build up the shape of the house itself
and make up the holes that you will be putting in the windows, doors and other types of wall attached
stuff like a planter of some sort.
Secondly, we will start making the windows and doors themselves based on the measurements you have made for them on the walls and then insert them in perfectly, I would do those by making borders for them and then doing it away from the house, and sometimes I just build them at the house itself
because the windows have the same hole measurements anyway.
Thirdly for the roof, you have to decide how many shapes and what type of shapes does it need
to get into the final roof shape you want.
and for the reference you provided I would say:
- 2 Wedge Parts
- 4 Wedge Corners
PS: you will find “Wedge Corners” in the F3x tool plugin.
after you add the foundation of the roof you start adding the paneling above it
For the corners, you will use negated cylinder parts to create that shape
and for the Front, back, left and right you can just use a normal part and place it one by one
each facing a different way if that’s what you’re going for, and I would also suggest creating
5-10 types of roof panels.
Finally, you will start coloring and texturing the whole build! I would usually material the whole build
as the most used material, and in your case I would say the roof paneling would use concrete so I would make it concrete and then start coloring from up till the bottom.
