Trying to move a part inside a part?

I’m trying to use the move tool to place a part inside a part, but it won’t do that. I am pretty sure has allowed you to do that before.

I recorded a demonstration below:

If possible, how could I go about fixing this? Or is there a different technique I could try?

do the two parts have CanCollide set to false ?

No, but I’m pretty sure that’s not the issue. I’ve done it before without changing any properties.

Brother if you’re trying to make two objects merge in studio you have to disable at least one of their CanCollide property off and then turning it back on if needed (when you’re done moving them). Try it before saying no at the very least

I have done just that recently, but before merging worked just fine without setting CanCollide false?

I have no idea about that maybe roblox did change it or not but yeah for now you just gotta change their properties temporarily to build

Turns out I accidentally hit “Collisions” in the home tab which turned it off. CanCollide can also fix the issue if needed.
