Hello everyone, i’ve been on the platform for around a decade now and my favorite game was always the Tsunami Survival games, fast forward to now, I’m trying to revive it, not looking for a profit or anything just made something I like.
I’ve made a total of 15 maps, ranging from difficulties of Easy-Insane, I’ve added new modern features such as trails, Buddies and emotes. (Still being worked on).
I’m almost done on this project and would love some feedback from everyone, anything from what needs changing, adding or removed would be appreciated.
I have changed the price of trail crates to 0 and all gamepasses are set to 1 Robux for everyone to test if you want to.
I already know there are a few things that need changing/removed/added. (I have a list) But all in all I’d say the games at around a 7-8/10.
I look forward to your responses
The lobby was confusing at where to go, but after a few minutes I got the hang of it. Great use of lighting! I also like how if everybody dies a new round can start instantly, unlike other games.
I really liked your game!
The idea of 3 waves, each a bit bigger than the first, was genius. I also liked how each map had a different obstacle to overcome to get to the top before the tsunami came. The lobby to me was very easy to understand. I especially like the arrows, they helped to point the way. I liked the low poly style too
Some critiques:
The UI was squashed (I’m on mobile)
There was a weird glitch with my name tag blending with the ocean →
Thanks for the feedback, I agree with everything you said,
I know about the glitch with the name tag, pretty sure it’s the invisible barriers disturbing it and sorry about mobile that’s a whole other process i still need to combat.
Hi!
I like your game and I love the concept even more. I loved tsunami games when I was a child and I’m glad someone cares for them enough to revive it and setting the gamepasses to 1 robux is a very nice thing to do and I bought 2 to support the game.
My criticisms:
I think the lobby is a bit bland, you should add a little more to it.
The map I played didn’t have a whole lot to it, a tower and a statue. I died trying to get the coins. I think the tsunami should do small damage amounts instead of 1 hit kills and it seems very slow when it’s far away and really fast when close.
Perhaps you should allow gravity coil or a balloon (like the original one I played) but don’t make it OP or P2W.
I honestly think you should make it how it is and not as a simulator. Simulators have a bad rep and its (generally) deserved. Your intentions are pure and not just for profit but simulators are often seen as moneygrabs.
I hope this helped and I hope your game goes well. I would definitely play again with more players.
