Turkish, Polish, Thai, and Indonesian now Available in Studio

I hope that with this being on the same localization workflow, it’ll introduce a feedback option for certain types of features and functions for translators and developers to better improve Studio translations, like how we have translation feedback for experiences now.

You have the choice via Studio Settings to use the OS language or a specific language. Is this what you mean?

I’m glad that the Polish language has been added.

Indonesia mentioned?!!

Jokes aside, I’m really glad that you guys added Bahasa Indonesia to Studio, and it is also my native language. I’ll try switching to Bahasa Indonesia when I have some free time on Studio.

I won’t be using Bahasa Indonesia much since I’m comfortable and used with English interface, but I’m pretty sure this will help those who struggle to understand English.

Either way, you guys did a cool update!

Thanks for the continuous work to expand language support in Roblox Studio. It is good to see that Turkish, Polish, Thai, and Indonesian have been added. But I have noticed that Arabic still is not available. Despite it being one of the most spoken languages in the world.

Arabic:

  • Native speakers: 267 million
  • Rank: 5th most spoken language
  • Official language in 25 countries
I quite understand the challenges that come with supporting RTL, and it has been said before. However, many platforms have done a great job implementing RTL, which would increase accessibility so much for Arabic-speaking developers and users.

Adding Arabic to Roblox Studios would mean giving a voice not only to the big and growing developer community, but also to bring in newer content with much more creativity. I hope this important update will be prioritized very soon. Thank you!

As a polish developer, I think this is a good update, sadly the errors are in English, but it’s alright. So yeah, I think this is a good update!

I mean when I reinstalled studio its automatically polish and not english or imported from account settings. Its not problem for me but it would be cool.

Isn’t Roblox banned in turkey? Not saying this is a bad thing, these options should always be available, but losing a large portion of turkish speakers from your audience then adding language support for it surely has to mean something, right…?

Asking any native speakers, how would you even pronounce this in English?

“Chesht” is how you pronounce it in English.

If Roblox is adding turkish translation, I think Roblox is not banned in Turkey (whith is the only country that use that language)

Thank you so much for adding Thai! Lots of Thai teenagers love to create with Roblox Studio, but most of Thai people don’t speak English, so this is really an amazing thing to be added!

ขอบคุณมากครับ! :pray::pray::pray:
