My goal is to turn a model thumbnail into a decal, while trying to keep the transparent background, so I could make a image label for a gui map voting system.
I’ve tried searching videos, looking at the developer website, and also at a few devforum posts.
First, go to the page of your uploaded model.
https://www.roblox.com/library/ the assetid of your model.
then right click on your models image, and click “View Image”
Once it has opened, you can just right click on the image, click “Save Image As”
It will save in png format, and be transparent just as the original was.
Then you just upload this image as a decal.
Presto! Decal from Model thumbnail.
