[Tutorial] Shop Maker Pro - Customizing your Shop

1. Mastering the Layout

The foundation of your shop is its structure. SMP uses a hierarchical system to keep your inventory organized and easy to navigate.

  • Dynamic Structure: Use the plugin to add sections, rows, and columns instantly.

  • Property Editing: For quick access to the UI you want to modify, first tap the ShopFrame, then tap on the UI you want to edit to pull up the property values for the UI element

  • Custom Assets: To use your own images, select any image and overwrite it in the property

2. Automatic Robux Price Updating

One of the more powerful and semi-hidden features of Shop Maker Pro is its automatic price syncing. When you link a Developer Product or Game Pass, the shop automatically fetches the price from Roblox.

Manual text labels are static, but SMP uses live data. This is crucial for region-based pricing and compliance. If Roblox adjusts currency values or if you change a price in the Creator Dashboard, your in-game shop updates instantly for every player globally without you having to re-publish your game.

3. Animation and Display Options

SMP offers several configuration toggles to change how the shop feels when a player opens it. These can be adjusted within the “Shop Modifications” section of the plugin:

  • Animation Direction: Choose between Center, Up, or Down . This determines if the shop scales from the middle or slides in from the edges of the screen.

  • Background Blur: Toggle the Blur background option to add a BlurEffect to the game world when the shop is active, keeping the player focused on your products.

  • Search and Tabs: You can enable or disable the Search bar and Section tabs depending on how large your inventory is.

4. Choosing Your Theme

Shop Maker Pro supports advanced skinning, allowing you to change the entire aesthetic of your storefront with one click.

  • Default Skin: A clean, professional blue-themed UI that fits almost any simulator or RPG.

  • Cyberpunk Skin: A premium aesthetic featuring neon glows, Sarpanch fonts, and high-tech borders for sci-fi or modern games.

  • Theme Variants: Within each skin, you can select per-section color variants to match your game’s color palette. Of course, if you want to customize it more in depth, you can do this through the Roblox Studio properties tab

5. Expanding the Shop

The plugin generates a standard Roblox ScreenGui structure, which means you aren’t limited to only what the plugin provides. You can easily add additional frames to the generated shop to provide more utility:

  • Custom Overlays: Parent a new Frame to the ShopFrame to create unique “Daily Deal” banners or “Limited Time Offer” stickers that sit on top of the generated grid.

  • Information Sidebars: If you need to show more player stats than just currency, you can drag the ContentScroll slightly to the side and insert a custom Information Frame into the ShopFrame.

  • VFX Containers: Add ParticleEmitters or ViewPortFrames inside the generated item frames to give your high-tier items a 3D animated preview that stands out from the static icons.
