Twitch chat to roblox integration

So, i have no clue how to use HTTP requests, and have been searching things for 30 minutes and still have no clue what im doing. So what i want to happen is:

A: Get a chat message from twitch
B: Use said chat message to do something ingame (give player item)

thanks if you have any clue how to do this, but im very lost so i came here.

i only found 1 article on the devforum about this topic (Twitch chat commands to roblox game?)

edit: i know how to use the string part, i just mean to make the string able to be used in a script

I really doubt this works. Someone would have to create some type of API for this one, would be a cool feature though!
