The text should be white but otherwise it looks good.

the black fits into the theme but not with your eyes, i have to strain just a bit to focus on the text before seeing what it says. thats the point, to make it easier to see for everyone
I honestly don’t know what you mean, I can read it pretty clearly without even trying.
that may be you, doesnt necessarily mean it’s everyone else. You generally wanna make the most important parts of banners/thumbnails etc. to stick out, like his name for example. Making it all black just blends it all in and makes it a tad bit difficult to read considering its against a red background with black spots.
As long as he is happy with his work, that’s fine. It’s just the little details that also matter

Yes, I see a couple things you need to improve on the posing of the character.
The lighting of the character and the background because the lighting doesn’t look very great with the chosen background of your choice.
But the good thing is your following a tutorial and trying to learn.
Which is great.
