Hey all,

New / 3D:
I really like the new one. However, the last one isn’t bed either.
I say first one looks cooler. More vibrant and shiny.
The new one looks a lot better if you ask me
I’ll set up a poll to make it easier:

Something else.
I think it depends on which visual elements it will be displayed alongside. For example the Robux logo has a couple variants- which one you display depends on the style of the ux.
If it’s a loading or title screen then display the new one, it pops very nicely and makes an impression.
If it’s being displayed alongside flat-shaded text or other flat elements then the old one will fit better. I’m not much of a visual designer so that’s just my opinion.
Good point! This is for our MMORPG project, and the image is used as the main wallpaper for the game’s page on roblox:
the icon itself is used as the (discord) server logo and as the icon on the explore page:
I’m not really sure whether the beveled logo would fit on the Roblox page, but I definitely feel like it would fit well in a cinematic trailer.
As for this:
we’re currently using the old one for the title screen, and it already looks quite good. I’d imagine it’d look better with the new one?
I’d advise you use the flat version for icons/engravings and the 3D version for things with more context, like the title screen or the game page. They both look amazing.
I like the first one but the second one would probably get more players due to the simplistic style.
I am a much bigger fan of the flat one, the simplicity gives much more capability to change it and place it somewhere. Although you can use it similarly to Vesteria, in how they have a very detailed one and a flat one that they use one for like the game thumbnail and the flat for the icon.
For this I suggest adding a tiny white circular glow that appears with the text. Gives a little touch to the boring background
