Hiya DevForum! I’ve been developing on the platform for a while and take great interest in tycoons. Over my time, I have built quite a few maps and assets for tycoons. Now, I don’t really develop on the platform anymore so I thought I should make all these assets completely free to use for anyone. These contain no scripts.
Disclaimer: I believe all the assets except the fountain and streetlights are mine, however please correct me if I am wrong. Regardless, the models that aren’t mine are models where permission has been granted to be used. This map is handy for anyone starting out in tycoons, and you can edit it however you want!
I have created a wide range of assets for tycoons and general maps that are available on the marketplace for absolutely free. You can view them all here.
I also have another direct download with the tycoon assets: Tycoon Assets.rbxl (112.1 KB)
I hope this is useful to someone who is looking to get some assets that will save time. These aren’t complicated, but I hope I can save people time and help people learn just how some of these assets are made.
If you have any feedback, suggestions, or things you want me to build to add to this pack I am happy to!
Thanks!
This is very good but I recommend that you use it but to learn, not for your game or to make it identical since that is how you would learn. This is really not very useful… could you at least explain how you did it? I mean the scripts. although I don’t need this one:I work with MANY ERRORS but I really congratulate you for your great work
There are no scripts in any of the models, I do not program.
The point of these models is to those who would like to learn! They aren’t particularly complicated, but they use a variety of skills and parts in a way that beginners do not know, which is why these resources are ideal.
hahahaha I understood and how did you do it in blender or with the construction tools in roblox? in case it is in blender: how did you learn, would you give me some advice?
and in case it’s roblox: you look very good
Mainly Robloxs construction tools, with a little blender on the side but only for basic shapes. You don’t need to be proficient in blender for this type of building, literally just knowing how to round and shape a block is really all I needed for this.
You can see that the ATM Machine is made up of many parts creating the angles that I want. Sure, you could do it on Blender and it probably would look better but I prefer to use parts, and for beginners who are trying to learn Roblox development, it isn’t helpful to provide Blender assets.
Great map! I would recommend you to add more depth to your map. You can achieve this by thinking of a theme you want to go for a map, like for example: your map theme should have been a beveled model theme. When you have a theme in mind your models come out great they fit with the theme.
Hiya, thanks for the feedback. The map has been kept simple as it is meant to provide essentially a “template” for people to use. As it is completely free users can edit the map however they would like and I suggest that they do so.
