U-turn on my go-kart track

So, I got one clear issue.

I am making the u-turn for my go-kart track and have gotten the shape that I want. My issue is the barrier. How do I make the barrier?

I know I can do one part at a time and rotate and resize and mess around, but that would result in a mess.

Any ideas or life hacks for issues as this?

Take a circle, make it a little bit bigger than the u-turn, take the circular track, duplicate it, and negate the duplicated part and union it with the circle. Take a square and union it with half of the circle to cut it. I will try to add pics of what I mean

Here’s are some rough sketches I drew:

Cylinders on roblox naturally are made out of different points and lines. You can see the sharp edges on the curve. You can just get bricks and follow the outline of the cylinder naturally

I agree with @TMG_ALT, Archimedes 2 is really great for this kind of think and it’s simple and easy to use, I really recommend it for your situation. :ok_hand: good luck my dude.

Wouldn’t that make weird hitboxes?

I’ll check it out. Thanks.

It really depends how you scale stuff, sometime if you make it a “perfect union” there wouldn’t be any weird/sticking out hit boxes!

Ok. Because out of my experience with CSG (made csg boats before) there can become some really weird hitboxes.

Yeah, unions could be really weird sometimes, but sometimes, it works in your favor! Good luck!

I shouldn’t think so. It’s worth a try though, if it ends up not working, my bad
