I’m looking to get into the UGC program, and I’m making an accessory right now. However, I may or may not have heard that there are limits on tris / faces that a accessory’s mesh can have. What are these limits? I’ve heard numbers anywhere from 1,000 to even 10,000 tris.
The limits she stated were old and deprecated in January of this year (2023). The updated limits are merely: No verts limit, 4k tris, and a max texture resolution of 1024x1024; it’s also important to add only Layered clothing can use Surface Appearance, and this cannot be applied to regular accessories.
