UGC Back Accessory Error - size larger than max allowed size

Hello! I’m trying to create my first UGC item (so I’m new to this) and I want to create spider legs for my avatar. Unfortunately, I can’t deal with one problem, so I’m asking for your help.

When I try to save the item in Roblox I get this error:
obraz

The mesh dimensions are within these limits though and they are 9.425, 6.933, 3.83:

I will show what this item looks like on an example Roblox avatar:

The second problem is that the texture in Roblox Studio loses detail and turns almost plain black, the texture dimensions are 512x512 pixels.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Edit 1: I scaled this item a bit, adjusted the size to other spider legs that are in the Roblox catalog and I still get the same error, I really don’t know how to solve this problem anymore

Edit 2: I think I know where the problem is, probably the spider’s legs went too far towards the front of the avatar, does anyone of you know how far back accessories can reach towards the front?

There’s different size limits and boundaries based on the body scale type of the accessory: https://create.roblox.com/docs/art/accessories/specifications#body-scale
The accessory fitting tool has a bounding box feature to help you with this.

As for the black texture, make sure your mesh has proper UV maps for the texture to apply to the spider legs.

Thank you so much, you helped me a lot!

The UV map is correct, the texture just loses a lot of detail in Roblox Studio, I’ll show it on the screenshots. This is what it looks like in Blender (I don’t use PBR textures, just texture image):

In Roblox Studio, this texture looks simply bad, like a black background with lighter spots:

Are you able to use 1024x1024 textures instead? I assume most of the legs are similar enough that you can use the entire area of the texture to give the most definition possible to the leg. There’s always a limit though, unfortunately.

Tomorrow I’ll try to figure out how to improve it, thank you again for your help!
