UGC Bundles analytics are inaccurate

The analytics for UGC body bundles seem to be inaccurate when tracking sales growths.
This discrepancy seems to happen to UGC body bundles. I have not checked if this is the case for accessories, layered clothing, or dynamic heads.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Choose a UGC body you uploaded after 07/01/2023
  2. Change ‘Custom Date Range’ to ‘07/01/2023-06/01/2024’ and record the total ‘Sales’
  3. Change ‘Custom Date Range’ to ‘07/01/2023-07/01/2024’ and record the total ‘Sales’
  4. By subtracting the total sales from steps 3 and 2, you should get the sales growth from 06/01/2024 to 07/01/2024
  5. Change ‘Custom Date Range’ to ‘06/01/2023-07/01/2024’ and record the total ‘Sales’
  6. Compare the sales growth numbers of steps 4 and 5

I also noticed that if I were to check the sales of an item from 07/01/2023-06/01/2024 and check it again 30 days later, that sales number would change instead of being the same.

Expected behavior

The sales growth numbers in step 6 of the reproduction steps should be the same or nearly the same.

However, I have noticed that UGC body bundles report magnitudes less than what I calculate manually using the 07/01/2023 method.

Hi. thanks for reporting this issue. we are actively looking at it and working on a fix.

Hi:
the issue should be fixed. The data has no issue. But the timestamp is wrong and might be confusing.
If you select 06/01 to 07/01, both start and end days will be included in the result.
So if you want to add up and compare, you can select 05/01 to 07/01, 05/01 to 05/31 and 06/01 to 07/01 to add up and compare. The value should be consistent.

Hi friedrich1717, I am still running into the same issue where setting the custom date range produces inaccurate results.

I logged the result of the total sales of an avatar bundle that was uploaded on 8/21/2023 for the period of (7/01/2023 - 6/1/2024) last month on 7/1/2024, and after waiting about a month since then, I checked the item’s total sales again for the same time period today on 8/2/24. The results were not consistent and the second check’s total sales was lower than the first.

Hi, this issue has also happened to me where my data has been removed and here is a clear discrepency

Im very confused because the data that was orignally there was very accurate like it corroponded to the robux going into my account, this is very frustrating to have my data removed like that
