Hello! My name is BankBend and I am a 3d artist and UGC concepter. I have almost 2 years of experience working in blender and I have skills such as modeling, sculpting, UV-unwrapping and texturing. I use a combination of Blender, Substance Painter and Photoshop in my work.
I am an active member of the ROBLOX community, working with many game devs to provide high quality 3D-work. I also spend multiple hours every day to better and broaden my UGC portfolio, which you can view further down on this post.
Since I applied for the UGC program, I have made another 30+ unique UGC concepts and I also have 14 Star Creator collabs and 3 UGC Creator collabs under my belt!
I have also worked with a handfull of game developers by producing game assets. Most of the games I’ve worked on are currently under development, but I will update this portfolio as soon as they’re published.

I’m very happy with the fact that I managed to fit this whole texture on to a 256px image! To make the brain, I first sculpted a high poly brain, after that I made a low poly version. Then I baked all details from the high poly to the low poly brain. I then textured everything just as normal! I’m very happy with how this turned out!

I wanted to do a concept with animals and thought to myself? What animal has not been done very much in the catalog before? Well… it’s hamsters! I wanted to make a scene concept and made this cage-like concept with the little hamster and his toys and stuff. I wanted to add more stuff, but because of UGC limitations, I had to choose wisely on what parts I wanted to include. I am quite happy with the result!

I usually texture my concepts in Substance Painter, but for this one I wanted to try out a more “soft” look and not realistic. I textured this concept in photoshop and painted everything from scratch! I really like this concept and am very pleased with the result!

This was a practice model for my sculpting skills as well as realistic texturing. Every render you see has a 256px texture. The model is sculpted and retopologiesed by hand, to maximize topology quality.

My first mount! Now you can ride around in a menacing yellow bulldozer and shovel away your enemies! I thought it was very fun making a mount and texturing it. I’m happy with the result!

Since it’s currently halloween time, I just had to make something halloween themed! Since halloween is supposed to be quite creepy, I went for a very realistic look and followed real image references to complete this texture. I’m very pleased with both the model and the texture! As always, all images you see in my portfolio are within UGC limits, both texture- and polygon-wise.

This helmet started out really simple, but as I continued modeling it, I just kept on adding elements. First I added those “breathing-fans” on the side and I ended up making two laser pointers on top. Here’s the “Laser Mech Helmet”!

I am heavily practicing realism and it was really fun to experiment with rusty metal. I had to work quite a while in substance painter before I got that old “worn” look. I think it looks best in Roblox Studio for some reason. Definitely happy with the result!

Low Poly LED Head

This item has only 150 vertices. I wanted to try something with that “glowing” effect you see. Making the actual mesh was quite easy, however texturing proved to be more difficult. Since we are limited to a 256x256px texture with UGC items, I needed to think differently. Because I wanted to have sharp lines between every face, I decided to do overlapping UVs since basically every UV face would be textured the same. I am very satisfied with the result!

This is totally different from what I usually make. Most of the time, I make some kind of realistic helmet or something similar, but today I wanted to make something with flipped normals. I had this idea to make a “Soda Set” which would include this soda jetpack and a soda drinking helmet. Anyway I thought it was really fun to do something different and texture with text. Also, since it’s supposed to be a homemade jetpack, it has some cheap blue rope stuck to some cardboard and one of the bottles is busted!

I originally wanted to make something halloween themed, but it kinda just turned into… well this. It was challenging optimizing the UV-space to maximize detail for the teeth.

I wanted to do a hat from cloth and not a metal helmet like I usually do. It turned out really great actually! I even made some creases in substance painter! All in all - very happy with the result.

- Look for inspiration or go by imagination
- Drawing a rough outline in photoshop
- Modelling in Blender or sculpting in ZBrush
- Retopologise or deleting unnecessary vertices
- UV Unwrapping in Blender
- Texturing in Substance Painter
