How can I improve my UI design? Most UI’s I make don’t look too good, either super simple or just odd looking

Holy Moly, so many wrong category posts today.
This should be in Art Support. Art support is for help with UI, GFX etc.
And also, may I see some of your designs to give something to improve on?

You really just have to look at the gui’s that you think look good and then start thinking “how could I make something like this”.

First of all, I recommend prototyping your UI in something like Figma, and exporting it to your experience.
Secondly, don’t download this plugin, it’s outdated, the creator has made a successor to it, and UICorners are better imo.
I would also suggest that you use scripting when you’re making UI, for example to position stuff.

I suggest working on making the UI smaller. If you have a small amount of buttons, make the UI smaller. Second, the color scheme has to be GREATLY revamped. Try working on a dark mode theme.

In my opinion the UI should be less wide as there’s a fair amount of empty space blocking the content on the screen from being seen, the edges of the UI are rounded but the buttons aren’t so I’d probably round the buttons. Also, I would have the text all the same size if possible and make sure that the ‘Creatures’ text isn’t as close to the edge of the button. Perhaps it would also look nicer with a darker background and white text, but that depends on the style of UI you’re going for! However, overall I think it’s pretty good!
