UIListLayout overwrites rotation but there's no sign in the properties

For some reason I cannot change the rotation of an object under the control of a UIListLayout.
However unlike other properties such as position, there’s not a single sign in the properties of the object, that the rotation is under control/overwritten by the UIListLayout.

If you have any idea of a way around this or whether it’s a bug or mistake, please let me know!

This is the relevant thread. A staff member explained UIListLayout and UIGridLayout take control of or the rotation as well. This probably hasn’t been highlighted in the studio yet.

Reproduction Steps 1) Create a frame, inside with a TextLabel with Rotation ~= 0 [9ftZGn7zeA] 2) Insert a UIListLayout inside the frame [9ftZGn7zeA] Expected Behavior The TextLabel should be shown rotated Actual Behavior The TextLabel is not being shown rotated Issue Area: Studio Issue Type: Display Impact: High Frequency: Constantly

Place the rotated UI element inside an invisible frame as a container.
