So, I’ve been trying for a fair while now to activate a single place of mine - however I’m having no luck. The place is - i broke it - Roblox
Every-time I try to activate it, I’m presented with the following error -
So, I tried setting it as a start place of a game. However, in order to set a start place the place apparently has to be active. Seeing my issue here? Below is the error I get whenever I try setting the start page.
Any ideas? Kinda a big issue here.
Did you create the place through the CreatePlace API? If so then you can’t make it active.
No, it was created using the onsite Create Place feature. That’s the reason I’m fairly confused about this - it was working fine until earlier today.
Earlier this happened to the place -
I wasn’t able to join my own game, it simply said ‘Locked’ on the icon in the top left corner. I tried deactivating it and reactivating it and that is when this issue started happening.
(It is the same place, I renamed it soon after it stopped working and such)

I have experienced this before. I think it means that the place is in a game/universe that doesn’t have a start place. Try making it the start place if you can, as it is now active.
Universe places take time to update. It won’t recognize:
That it’s now active
That it’s no longer in a previous universe
until after a bit of time has passed. I haven’t tested the exact time, but I usually go by about an hour.
