I just sent a message to one of my friends but it resulted in a heap of hashtags and a red text warning “Your message was moderated and not sent.” I tried chatting multiple times (and multiple different words including simply “hi” and “test”) and received the same result. I receive this result no matter who I try to chat to. This started at about 1:30 pm (PST). Here are some screenshots:

Edit: I talked to members of my playerbase, it is happening for a few of them as well but not all players.
This happens constantly if you have more than one tab open (or lots of tabs). My chat hasn’t worked consistently in years. Only fix I’ve seen is to refresh every roblox tab I have open.

I only had one tab open when I was having problems yesterday. I also just tested chatting with multiple tabs open and it did not produce the same result (my chat works fine now). Since you are still having issues I don’t think the problem is resolved but it doesn’t seem to be connected to number of pages open.
Ahh, it could be length of time a tab is open (or a combination of the two), I just know it won’t fix itself without resetting whichever tab is broken. It’s probably more common with more tabs because there’s more chances for a tab to end up with a broken chat, which then breaks it for all of them.
