I am attempting to set up my asset for sale, but I am encountering difficulties as I receive an error message. This error specifically occurs with models and packages.
Upon configuring my asset and attempting to save changes, an error message is displayed: “Something went wrong configuring the product Please try again later.” Upon reloading the page, the name and description seem to be saved despite the error message appearing, however, you are still unable to list the asset for sale.
I’ve even attempted to utilize a VPN, change accounts, restart the WIFI connection, and switch to a different browser.
Browser info: Chrome on Windows, version 126.0.6478.114.
(No errors appear in the console log, only on the web page)
Can you please confirm whether the changes still get processed, even if it says something went wrong? When I did some testing myself, I discovered that changes I made were indeed processed correctly, and that the only error was that an error message appeared.
The page URL you supplied is incorrect. You cannot configure an asset on the page, it instead is the one that displays all of them and requires you to click one.
You also have not mentioned what type of asset this occurs with.
Additionally, add a screenshot of errors in the console log using Ctrl + Shift + I if on Chrome. It’ll help engineers diagnose the issue.
Adjustments have been implemented to the topic. An unusual observation is that errors do not appear in the console log, but solely on the web page. Nevertheless, I appreciate your assistance in enhancing this subject.
Out of curiosity, was this asset previously moderated/archived in any way? Or alternatively has there been any sort of actions on your account related to this asset/type of asset?
Just to clear any confusion, whenever attempting to distribute assets to the marketplace, it won’t process and displays an error. This applies to models & packages, plugins, decals, and meshes.
