I found found that the issue was due to max groups. My issue has been resolved.

It was the same for me too, just do it from the mobile application and it should work, unless you reached the group limit. Sadly it’s still happening and it’s almost 2022

I tried joining the group using extension on my phone, unfortunately nothing worked.

i have the same problem. i cant join any groups is there any fixs?

same thing here. been like this for 2 days. i can join on alts but not main. tried ios app, computer, switching browsers, clearing cookies, ect. nothing works

found the fix i had joined the max groups i left some and could join agian
