Unable to Login with New Email on Roblox Creator Events

When attempting to change the email associated with a Roblox account on the Roblox Creator Events website (https://events.roblox.com/), users are unable to log in to the website after successfully updating their email on the main Roblox website. Instead, an error message is displayed stating: “Login failed: another Roblox account with the same Email already registered for this community.”

Reproduction Steps

  1. Create a new Roblox account.
  2. Log in to the new Roblox account and set your primary email for this account.
  3. Verify the email address to complete the process of assigning the new email to the account.
  4. Visit the Roblox Creator Events website (https://events.roblox.com/) and log in with the new Roblox account.
  5. Authorize Gradual to access your user information and then log out of the website.
  6. Return to the main Roblox website and change the email for the new Roblox account to an alternative one.
  7. Log in to your primary Roblox account and ensure it has your primary email associated with it.
  8. Go back to the Roblox Creator Events website and attempt to log in using your primary Roblox account.

Expected Behavior

After updating the email for the new Roblox account and the primary Roblox account, the user should be able to log in to the Roblox Creator Events website with both accounts without any issues.

Actual Behavior

When attempting to log in to the Roblox Creator Events website with the new Roblox account after changing its email, an error message is displayed, stating: “Login failed: another Roblox account with the same Email already registered for this community.”

Despite reaching out to the Roblox Event Organizer team, specifically @InceptionTime (one of the managers of the program), regarding this issue, no response or resolution has been received. The impact of this bug is considered high, as it prevents users from accessing the Roblox Creator Events website when changing the email associated with their accounts. The issue occurs constantly and affects multiple users.

Thanks for reporting this, unfortunately, this is not a bug. This is the intended behaviour of the website. Users can only have one account on the same email on the Creator Events platform.

We can make a one off request to Gradual to delete the account under your current primary email on the events platform (this will have no effect on your Roblox account).
